Last night, I had an ultimate unwinding evening.
I went to the salon and had my hair cut really short.
After which, I had about an hour foot massage in a different venue.
Gawd, I really needed to unwind.
After all, I just found out I didn't get promoted.

I'm not surprised. Don't take it the wrong way ha.
I was like that too. I worked my a$$ off for 2 and a half years there, and i didn't get promoted. Pero someone from my team was promotoed from AM to M in one year... I believe I worked as hard as she did.
Apparently there are a lot of politicking there when it comes to promotions. And since am not the type to be fake and sipsip to the hiher ups, i knew life there would be tough for me.
so i left.
i hope that even without a promotion, you are getting the recognition YOU DESERVE from that company. I know you well enough to know that you are smart and masipag.
and i hope that your colleagues and superioirs see that too.

I know. May napromote sa amin AM to M... Less than 2 years sya. I was sooo hoping it would be this year. Maybe next year but di na ako umaasa dahil sa sinabi ng boss ko.
Based from her words, my husband is likely to be promoted first than me. I feel that my 3 years is not amounting to anything but some awards that never amount to anything.
