Christening = Motherhood

Today, hubby and I went to two christenings. Luckily for us, they were at different times.

I was able to carry the baby boy but not the baby girl. At six months, the baby boy is about 10 kilos. Really heavy. Really cute baby boy. I could almost imagine carrying my hubby's replica (of course, not his six feet three inches stature.)

Today, more than ever, I wanted to be a mom. So much so that I can almost taste it.

Maybe it's cause of my looming resignation in the very near future that makes me feel we can have a baby.

Weird isn't it? No work means less money. Less money means we might not be able to support the baby as much as we could now. But no work means no stress.

Weighing the odds, which one really does matter?

pray for enlightenment - and i also firmly always believe that whatever decisions we make in life ALWAYS work out in the end - no matter what.

Cecil, what really matters is what will make you happy. So, resigning from work and having a baby? Go for it! :)

hi cecil! i hope you still remember me =) anyhow, just want to share with you my experience...that has been my dilemma when i got married, but when finally got pregnant, and got a hemorrhage due to stress at work, finally, i have agreed with my hubby that i will resign...before, it was a tough decision for me since i was in my prime in my career and earning big bucks...and ur right, no work means less money...but no work also means no stress and having a healthy baby...and so i decided to quit...as i can't risk the life of my precious baby just because of work...especially that i have my problems too with my uterus and i was told that i will really be having a difficulty in havin a baby and even might not have one, but here we are, experiencing a miracle =)

having a baby is far more important than our jobs right now...we can still find a job after sometime, but having a baby can't wait...the more we get older, the more we will have a hard time havin our bundle of joy.

being a mom is a career too...which is even harder than our usual career @ work.

you just have to choose your career now...being a mom or an employee? more money but no baby, or just enough but with happy family? which is more rewarding to you? =)
